Andrea Calabrò est professeur en entreprises familiales et entrepreneuriat et Directeur de la Chaire de l'Entreprise Familiale Durable et de l'Entrepreneuriat de l'ɫƵ Business School, France. Il est directeur académique monde du Projet STEP (Successful Transgenerational Entrepreneurship Practices). Il est titulaire d'un doctorat en management et gouvernance de l'Université de Rome Tor Vergata et a été professeur titulaire de la Chaire en administration des affaires et entrepreneuriat familial de l'Université de Witten / Herdecke (2011-2017). Il a fondé le Family Business Research Strategic Interest Group (FBR SIG) à l'European Academy of Management (EURAM) et est fondateur et organisateur de l'International Family Business Research Forum (IFBRF). Il a publié des articles sur les entreprises familiales, l'internationalisation et la gouvernance d'entreprise dans les principales revues internationales à comité de lecture telles que : Strategic Management Journal, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Journal of International Business Studies, Family Business Review, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Business Ethics, Corporate Governance : An International Revue et Journal of Business Research.
