"Business Schools Impact System Logo"

After an evaluation process lasting several months, the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and the Fédération Nationale de la Gestion des Entreprises (FNEGE) have just awarded the BSIS (Business School Impact System) label to ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Business School.

This international label rewards the scientific, pedagogical, economic, social and environmental impact of Business Schools on their territory. To do this, the experts commissioned by the BSIS assess the contribution of the schools to their local environment in terms of job creation, contribution to economic and cultural dynamism, participation in the development of the entrepreneurial world, attraction and training of young talent, production of knowledge, social and managerial support for organisations...

The BSIS reviewers particularly appreciated the annual financial impact of ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ on the Ile-de-France region (estimated at 53 million euros), the work carried out by our research laboratory, the excellence of our Chairs and their alignment with the major social, economic and organisational challenges of our time. The transversal impacts of the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Chairs ("Inclusive Enterprise", "French-Savoir Faire", "Entrepreneurship, Digital, Innovation, Performance" and "Energy Transition") were also praised, both on the scientific and pedagogical as well as the socio-organisational and societal levels.

In addition, the members of the visiting committee approved the quality and diversity of our programmes (from Bachelor to DBA) as well as their adequacy with current societal issues (CSR, diversity and diversity management, social inclusion at and through work, socio- and eco-efficiency of organisations, social entrepreneurship, circular economy, energy transition...). Also, our privileged relationships with Ile-de-France companies have been noticed, as well as the potential of our incubator and the usefulness of our students' dissertations for local companies. Finally, the rooting of our alumni in the region (more than 50%) and its impact on the territory was underlined.

Beyond the obtention of the label, this project led by Maria Giuseppina Bruna (Director of Ethics, CSR and Social Research at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ) with Marc Rivault and Béchir Ben Lahouel at her side, enabled our school to engage in a reflection and an ambitious process of improvement of its social and environmental footprint.

The BSIS project is the result of the collective mobilisation of nearly 70 employees from all the school's departments and main bodies, and has benefited from the contribution of numerous partners: students, alumni, institutional partners and corporate sponsors. This collective success is also theirs. Special thanks go to the Town Hall of the 15th arrondissement of Paris, the Foundation Acting against Exclusion (FACE), the VYV Mutualist Group and the company KLESIA, for their trust and valuable support during the audit.

Congratulations to all those who have enabled ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ to obtain this label for the next three years!
