After the excitement of the first few weeks of studies, the succession of extra-curricular activities and the discovery of societies in a Grande Ecole, many students are quickly reminded of the demanding reality of their course.

What are the best practice to adopt when studying? How do you adapt to the pace of higher education? Interviewed by L'Etudiant, Lydie Genin, operational director of the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Grande Ecole programme, gives her advice on how to succeed in your first year: 

• Be aware of the work to be done
• Anticipate and be organised
• Become autonomous and rigorous
• Learn to know yourself and trust yourself
