The complementary phase of Parcoursup is a valuable opportunity for applicants who have not yet found a course or wish to explore new options. Accessible from 11 June 2025, it offers a second chance to make wishes for courses that still have places available, up to and including 9 September 2025.
This phase is intended for :
Log in to your Parcoursup file and access the ‘Complementary phase wishes’ menu from 11 June. Browse the list of courses still available using the search engine, which is updated daily. For example, you can search for the keywords Programme Grande École or ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Business School. Note that only courses with vacant places appear.
You can make up to 10 new applications for courses where places are still available, regardless of your choices in the main phase. Some courses are particularly demanding: for each choice, you need to put together a solid application (motivational project, activities, interests, academic results, experience). This is the time to highlight your motivation and recent experience. The courses examine the applications and applications and have several days in which to make a decision (admission or rejection).
Places are limited and applications are received quickly. Check your space on the platform regularly and respond without delay to any offers of admission. Make a note of the response deadlines and keep a close eye on Parcoursup notifications.
Take advantage of this phase to broaden your horizons: explore streams, establishments or regions that you hadn't thought of during the first admissions phase. If you are originally aiming for a work-linked degree, you could consider the Bachelor in Management - grade de Licence at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Business School. This programme is offered on the Paris, Nice and Thionville-Luxembourg campuses.
Personalise your proposed course of study for each choice, highlighting your experience (work placements, community involvement, open days, academic results, particularly third term grades which are included in the application), your commitments and clearly explaining why the course interests you and how it matches your background and ambitions.
Before applying, find out about the content of the courses, the selection criteria and the career opportunities so that you can make an informed choice. For example, find out about the 7 specialisations offered by the BTS at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Business School.
Prepare the information you need for each application in advance (covering letter, CV, supporting documents). You can make applications until 9 September at 11.59pm. After this date, it will no longer be possible to add new wishes. And check all the information you have entered carefully before confirming, as you cannot change a wish once it has been submitted.
The Parcoursup complementary phase is a new opportunity to enter higher education, but it's also a chance to refine your career plans. By remaining proactive, organised and open-minded, all applicants increase their chances of joining a course that matches their ambitions. Don't hesitate to ask your school or Parcoursup advisers for help in maximising your chances of success.
