¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Business School Circular Economy Chair has been in existence since 2016. Its purpose is to promote education and learning about new economic models, such as the circular economy, among students, professors, alumni, elected officials and staff with new sustainable economic models. Since 2021, it has benefited from European Erasmus + funding from Europe, as part of the RESICITIES programme.

The aim of the Chair is to create a living lab around the implementation of the circular economy in education and everyday life, with the aim of testing and developing new services, products, tools or uses, particularly around housing, education and urban agriculture.  The chair is working with a number of schools, including AgroParisTech and the Ecole des Ponts.
At the invitation of François-Michel Lambert MP, Chairman of the National Institute for the Circular Economy, the chair team, with Dominique Bonet took part in the government's circular economy roadmap (AGEC law). In this capacity, she has proposed an initial and continuing education program, in association with other members of the CGE and Campus Responsables.

In this way, the Chair offers its partners a genuine platform for exchange, study and training, so that we can co-construct our living environment of the future today. We propose to:

  • Reflect together on the applied circular economy
  • Co-design operational solutions
  • Experiment with, capitalize on and disseminate best practice
  • Promote models, resources and new players with an impact
  • Identify and share joint projects for 2024.
  • Responding jointly to calls for projects (Region, France, European Union)

The RESICITIES program (2021-2023) is an educational project aimed at graduate students and university staff, run by a group of 4 European universities/schools.

The consortium is made up of

  • Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU), Czech Republic
  • University of Stavanger (UiS), Norway
  • Porto Business School (PBS), Portugal
  • ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Business School Paris (¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ), France

In this project, among other objectives, the consortium has created educational content and organised training activities that jointly contribute to the development of competencies (knowledge, skills and abilities) among students, professors, alumni and elected officials in the field of sustainable, collaborative and intelligent cities. Through these initiatives, the universities of the RESICITIES consortium are shaping learners into active citizens and managers, well prepared to meet the challenges of the coming decades in the urban environment in environmental, social and economic contexts. These contents are free access to all, on the platform.
