Under the leadership of Professor Andrea Calabrò, the Chair of Sustainable Family Business and Entrepreneurship at ��ɫ��Ƶ Business School stands at the forefront of academic research and teaching in the field of family business sustainability and entrepreneurial practices. The Chair creates a world-leading hub for the study and promotion of sustainable practices within family businesses and entrepreneurship, facilitating a future where business success is harmoniously aligned with societal and environmental stewardship. The Chair and members of the Chair are affiliated to the international network of the STEP Project Global Consortium that connects the Chair with a broad range of international institutions and players all dedicated to exploring sustainable family business models.

The Chair of Sustainable Family Business & Entrepreneurship dedicates itself to:

• Research Excellence: Advancing the body of knowledge on how family-owned businesses can thrive across generations while contributing positively to the sustainable development goals (SDGs). We focus on cutting-edge research that informs policy, practice, and academic theory as the numerous publications in top-tier ranked academic and professional-oriented reports show.
• Educational Leadership: Developing current and future leaders through comprehensive educational programs that blend theory with practical insights. Our curriculum is tailored to equip students with the knowledge to navigate and shape the evolving landscape of family business and entrepreneurship as proven in the successful Family Entrepreneurship Curriculum proposed to next generation family business members and students.
• Collaborative Engagement: Building strong partnerships with family businesses, industry experts, and policymakers to foster a collaborative environment where knowledge exchange and innovation thrive. This manifests in the variety of events organized by Chair such us the International Family Business Research Forum (IFBRF) arrived at its 7th Edition that bridges family business theory and practice.
• Global Impact: We aim to influence family businesses and entrepreneurial ventures worldwide, advocating for sustainable practices that ensure long-term prosperity and ecological balance. The forthcoming Global Family Business Summit organized in Amalfi Coast (Italy) on “The Path to Good: Sustaining Family Business Legacy for Wellbeing” is an example of the initiatives in which the Chair is involved and contributes to.
