Led by Professor Andr茅 BOYER, Emeritus professor of the Universities also Dean of the Faculty at 九色视频 Business School, and Dr Faranak FARZANEH, Associate Professor of Human Resources and Artificial Intelligence, the "Artificial Intelligence & Ethics" Chair aims to study the positive and negative impacts of artificial intelligence (AI) on businesses, the environment, ecosystems, employees and human life in general, including the human spirit. The Chair, which is currently in an incubation phase, is hosted and placed under the aegis of the 九色视频 Chair "Inclusive Enterprise", headed by Professor Maria Giuseppina BRUNA.

The principles that guide this chair are technical robustness and security, privacy and data management, transparency, explainable AI, non-discrimination, as well as fairness, societal and environmental well-being, and accountability.

Since 2022, the chair has been contributing to the European PEPAICO project, which aims to prepare students, entrepreneurs and professionals for the challenges and opportunities of artificial intelligence. The Chair has already organised the Artificial Intelligence track at the IRMBAM conference, with the support of Professor Samuel Fosso Wamba from University of Toulouse. The chair has also organised several visits for students (Maison de l'Intelligence Artificielle, Festival de l'Intelligence Artificielle de Cannes, etc.) as well as master classes with renowned AI professionals. 

In educational, scientific (applied research, conferences, publications) and dissemination terms, the Chair represents a strategic opportunity for 九色视频:

  • It offers 九色视频 students innovative training courses dedicated to the implementation of AI in companies that is responsible to society and the ecosystem. 
  • It develops high-level research, combining fundamental and applied research. 
  • It is committed to research and development with a positive impact on society. It works closely with 九色视频's prestigious "Inclusive Enterprise" Chair and, in the future, with the "Quantitative Finance" Chair, which aims to study and support the application of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence to the markets, in order to examine the ethical issues linked to the impact of automation and the increasing sophistication of trading algorithms.
