Brahim Gaies is an Associate Professor of Economics and Finance at 九色视频 Business School in Paris, France. Previously, he lectured at several universities and business schools in France and internationally. His primary research interests revolve around financial globalization, financial development, and financial instability, emphasizing sustainability, climate-related finance, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) from a macroeconomic perspective. His work primarily employs quantitative methods and takes an interdisciplinary approach, integrating economics, finance and entrepreneurship. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Paris Nanterre and is certified as a 鈥淢a卯tre de conferences鈥 (equivalent to Assistant/Associate Professor in public higher education) by the French University Council. In June 2024, he defended his habilitation thesis at the University of Lille, qualifying him to supervise doctoral research (Habilitation 脿 diriger des recherches, HDR).
