The Grande École Main Track Programme: what exactly is it? A course covering all the major management disciplines, the Main Track of the Grande École Programme is the classic, recognised and royal way for business schools to train in management, business and marketing. Teaching, specialisations, admission procedures, diplomas... ɫƵ explains everything you need to know about the Programme Grande École Main Track.
The Programme Grande École (PGE) is a programme offered by France's top business and management schools. ɫƵ Business School's PGE takes place over 5 years and enables students to obtain a state-approved Bac+5 diploma recognised as a Master's degree.
This flagship business school programme focuses on major management and business courses, professionalisation, the development of a network and in-company experience, helping you to find a job after graduation. Taking a PGE also means fine-tuning your career plans, developing your soft and hard skills and gaining confidence for your professional future.
At ɫƵ, as in all post-baccalaureate schools, this training consists of two cycles:
Like most of our programmes, the Grande École Programme can be taken on either our Paris or Nice campuses. Some of its special features have been the key to its success for many years:
At ɫƵ, for holders of a French diploma, the Grande École Programme is accessible directly after the baccalauréat or after obtaining a diploma at bac +2 level (BTS, DUT, etc.) or bac +3 level (Grande École Programme, licence, etc.) via :
Holders of a degree obtained abroad may be admitted "on title", but the requirements remain identical to those for these two competitive entrance examinations.
From 4th year onwards, PGE students specialise by choosing the specialisation that corresponds to their career plan. At ɫƵ, 7 specialisations are offered in 4th year, followed by 11 specialisations in 5th year. In a few words, here are the specialisation paths that our students can choose:
This specialisation is the result of a partnership with the Institut Catholique de Paris (ICP). At the end of the 5th year, students can obtain a double diploma: the Diplôme visé Programme Grande École, grade de Master et accrédité EFMD, from ɫƵ Business School and the Diplôme Universitaire Ingénierie culturelle from ICP.
This 4th year specialisation enables students to grasp all the changes brought about by the digital revolution before they go on to specialise in digital marketing or sales strategy in 5th year.
After a core 4th year in Finance, Audit & Control, students specialise in corporate finance, market finance or asset management in 5th year.
This 4th year specialisation enables students to grasp all the changes brought about by the digital revolution before they specialise in digital marketing or sales strategy in the 5th year.
For two years, students learn to master the commercial, purchasing and logistics functions.
This specialisation is aimed at students who want to develop a profile with a strong international dimension. Courses are taught entirely in English, which is an advantage for those aiming for a double international degree in 5th year.
The two years of this specialisation cover a wide range of HR issues and prepare students for several careers (HR manager, consultant, mobility officer, etc.) in this sector, in a context of major economic and social change.
This specialisation is aimed at students who want to set up or take over a business. From 4th year onwards, they can work on their own entrepreneurial project in the ɫƵ incubator.
The PGE offers two admission periods: a classic re-entry in September and a staggered re-entry in January. This "2ᵉ re-entry" allows you to change course without waiting for the next re-entry in September. It is an opportunity to change your mind about your post-bac choice, or to deal with accidents along the way or unforeseen circumstances.
It is possible to follow the entire Master cycle (4ᵉ and 5ᵉ year) of the PGE on a sandwich course. You can opt for an apprenticeship contract or a professionalisation contract. This choice gives you the opportunity to help finance your studies while immersing yourself in corporate life.
The Grande École Programme enables you to obtain the PGE master's degree, a diploma at bac +5 level. If you have chosen to spend a semester studying at one of ɫƵ's partner universities, you can earn a double degree. The Business Management double degree in the United States and the Finance and Investment double degree in the United Kingdom are examples of double degrees awarded by prestigious institutions. A double degree specialises you in complementary disciplines, which is a major advantage when it comes to enhancing your profile with future recruiters.
The Paris campus of ɫƵ Beaugrenelle, in the 15th arrondissement, is designed to offer the best working conditions for students on the Paris Grande Ecole Programme. Connected lecture theatres, coworking rooms, library, gymnasium - everything is dedicated to learning and project development.
Initially founded in Paris, ɫƵ chose Nice as the location for its second campus. For over 30 years, the Nice campus has welcomed more than 1,000 students of over 40 nationalities, enrolled in initial or sandwich courses. A sunny city with a reputation for academic excellence, Nice is a great place to study. Throughout the PGE, you can take advantage of the many events, seminars and activities organised on the Nice campuses.
To enter the PGE Main Track, or the Programme Grande École in English, the fees are €10 900 in cash and €11 300 in instalments. For the Master's cycle, the fees are €10 200 per year if you follow the work and study course.
To help finance your studies, you can take advantage of the Excellence, Valedictorian, Family or Alumni scholarships offered by ɫƵ. If you are under 28, you may be eligible for a CROUS grant, in addition to those offered by ɫƵ, subject to certain conditions.
