What is a BBA?

The BBA, or Bachelor of Business Administration, is a post-secondary course that can be completed in three or four years, depending on the business school. It gives secondary school graduates a comprehensive understanding of the worlds of management and business. The content of a BBA course is formatted according to an international model. This type of course meets the needs of students who are planning an international career. You can find out what’s on offer at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ by reading the course description for the Bachelor of Business Administration.

What are the differences between a bachelor’s degree and a BBA?

Both bachelor’s courses and the BBA provide the same general teaching, such as management, finance, human resources, business, accounting and marketing. Following graduation from either, you may then choose to take an MBA course.

µþ²¹³¦³ó±ð±ô´Ç°ù’s are general courses that include options to specialise, while the BBA is a 100% international course. During the BBA course, some or all of the lessons are given in English, to enhance employability abroad. Furthermore, the study environment promotes interculturality and foreign language speaking with students of various nationalities. With certain courses, like the one run by ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ, lessons are given by native English speakers.

One of the main reasons to choose the BBA is that it offers a chance to  study abroad and earn a double degree with partner schools in other countries. The business school ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ offers two double-degree courses with:

  • Nottingham Business School in the United Kingdom;
  • University of South Wales, with option of taking this course at the ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ campus in Nice.

Why take a BBA?

A BBA offers the opportunity to become bilingual through lessons given in English, semesters spent overseas and the various internships in international companies. Beyond the common learning foundation, this type of course offers many specialisations with a view to getting students ready for the world of work.

After graduating from the BBA, students may choose to continue their studies with a master’s or embark on an international career in the areas of management, business or finance. Thanks to the international reputation that the BBA enjoys, as well as the various experiences of working abroad it offers, these courses are highly valued by recruiters and they open up a huge range of career opportunities for students. After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration, young graduates can look forward to rapid career growth and an attractive salary.

What is the reputation of the BBA in France and internationally?

In terms of academic recognition, BBA courses are certified by the French Ministry of Higher Education and are included in the French RNCP system, a list of qualifications approved by the French Ministry of Work. This recognition certifies all of the knowledge, skills and abilities learned during the course.

BBA course run by ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ offers a chance to earn a double degree in three years: one awarded by ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ and a Bachelor of Honours awarded by a prestigious British university (University of South Wales or Nottingham Business School), opening up the path to a masters in an English-speaking country.

What educational pathways and career opportunities does a BBA open up?

Following a BBA course, graduates can continue their studies with a masters-level course, such as an MSc (Master of Science), a specialised masters, an academic masters, or an MBA. By going down this path, you can further specialise, enhance your employability and increase your value on the job market.

Students can also directly enter the world of work with positions overseas or in an international environment. Another option available following a BBA is to start your own company. Many of our students choose the BBA because it enables them to embark on the adventure of entrepreneurship.
